The Fix Is In - December 16

LCHS is pleased to announce that The Fix Is In is offering low-cost spay and neuter surgeries for cats and dogs at our new building! The December surgery date will be the 16th. You will need to call The Fix Is In at 715-550-7729 to set up appointment. LCHS does not have any information regarding scheduling, appointments, or any further information. 

Prices for dog surgeries range from $85-$100 (including the rabies vaccine) and $40-$50 for cats (including the rabies vaccine). You can check out their website for an additional services and information. www.the-fix-is-in.org

Chili Cook-Off

2nd Annual Chili Cook Off Fundraiser
December 17th, 2016

FREE to enter the competion!
Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and your name on our chili cook off plaque that is displayed here at the bar.

We still have spaces available if you would like to enter.

Skipper's Christmas Trees & Wreaths to Benefit LCHS

Skipper's Restaurant in Merrill will be hosting opening their Christmas Tree & Wreath lot soon! For several years, Skipper's has donated ALL of the proceeds from their tree lot to the Lincoln County Humane Society and we are incredibly grateful for their support once again this year. 

 

Wreaths are available now, you can call Rick to reserve one today! The tree lot will open on November 25 and will be open for Skipper's Restaurant regular hours (Tuesday - Thursday 7am-3pm, Friday - Saturday 6am-3pm, Sunday 7am-2pm). Rick will also be keeping the tree lot open after the restaurant's regular hours. If you have any questions or want to confirm an after-hour time to go pick out your Christmas tree, please call Skipper's Restaurant at 715-536-9914 or 715-212-3276.

Vaccine, Dog License, & Microchip Clinic

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Griffin & Peggy from Willow Springs Garden will be hosting a Rabies Clinic at LCHS on January 11th from 4pm-6pm. If you have questions regarding the vaccines or additional services, you can call the Willow Springs Clinic at 715-675-1171.

Prices:
Rabies Vaccine $20
Distemper Vaccine (Dogs or Cats) $20
Lymes Vaccine $34
Kennel Cough $20
Microchip Insertion & Registration $25


If your animals are current on any vaccinations, please bring any veterinary records along. Dogs must be leashed and cats must be in carriers.

2017 Dog Licenses will also be available! $10 for a spayed/neutered dog, $30 for an unaltered dog.

Spare the Animals Bowl-a-Thon

Join us at Les & Jim's Lincoln Lanes in Merrill on February 25, 2017 for "Spare the Animals Bowl-a-Thon!"

There will be four-five person teams and each team is required to pledge a minimum of $100. The event will start at 3pm for moonlight bowling. Money must be turned in by February 24 at LCHS. Bowlers will receive free bowling and shoe rental for up to 3 games.

Bowlers must be at least 21 years old. There will be a 50/50 raffle! There will also be a raffle for a beautiful patio set which was donated by Cari Sauter.

Cruisin' For Critters - June 10, 2017

SAVE THE DATE! Cruzin' Fur Critters 2017! 

Our annual Cruzin' Fur Critters Poker Run will be held June 10, 2017! We are establishing which businesses will be stops this year and we will keep everyone posted as more details emerge. 

Registration is $20 per person and includes the poker hand, food, and live music at the end stop. 

Any businesses that are intersted in sponsoring the event, becoming an event stop, or donating prizes can contact Jim at 715-966-1961. All donations are tax-deductible!
