The Lincoln County Humane Society is preparing for our Annual Fall Banquet on October 8th, 2016! It will once again be held at Les & Jim's in Merrill. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and dinner will be held at 6:30 p.m. A $40 ticket includes your dinner, drawings for door prizes throughout the evening, and the chance to win the main prize!
We are looking for businesses to donate prizes or provide sponsorship for the night. If you are interested in donating, we can provide a tax-donation receipt for you or your business. Please contact Johanna at 715-536-5841 if you would like to help out!

Dr. Prince will be hosting a vaccine clinic at LCHS on October 9th from 12pm-2pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the end of the clinic to have time to complete the paperwork. If you have any questions, please contact the Wausau Mobile Pet Hospital at 715-573-8680.

Please bring any previous vaccination records. For the safety of pets and people, dogs must be on a short leash and cats must be in a crate. If you have an aggressive pet, leave it in the vehicle and go through the line to fill out the paperwork without the pet.
Join us at our new building (on the corner of 6th Street and Memorial Drive) for our board meeting on October 12th. Our meeting will include information about future fundraising plans. The meeting will be held at 5pm.
LCHS is pleased to announce that The Fix Is In is offering low-cost spay and neuter surgeries for cats and dogs at our new building! The October surgery date will be the 27th. You will need to call The Fix Is In at 715-550-7729 to set up appointment.
Prices for dog surgeries range from $85-$100 (including the rabies vaccine) and $40-$50 for cats (including the rabies vaccine). You can check out their website for an additional services and information. www.the-fix-is-in.org

SAVE THE DATE! Cruzin' Fur Critters 2017!
Our annual Cruzin' Fur Critters Poker Run will be held June 10, 2017! We are establishing which businesses will be stops this year and we will keep everyone posted as more details emerge.
Registration is $20 per person and includes the poker hand, food, and live music at the end stop.
