Become a Lincoln County Humane Member! 

As a Lincoln County Humane Society member, your donations will support a variety of programs and services we offer. We care for over 1,000 abandoned and unwanted companion animals each year, many who come to us sick or injured.

Memberships are valid for one year, and expire each year in February.

Members receive:

• A personalized Certificate of Membership
• A small thank you gift, as a token of our gratitude
• Quarterly newsletters, keeping you informed of our progress and how your participation helps achieve our goals
• The ability to vote at the annual Board of Directors meeting held each February
• An engraved name plate placed in the shelter lobby (Bronze, Silver and Gold members only)

Please fill out the membership form and return it to the Lincoln County Humane Society with a check for your membership level contribution.

Member Levels:

• Regular Membership - $25.00
• Bronze Membership - $250.00
• Silver Membership - $500.00
• Gold Membership - $1000.00

This is the application form used to be considered for a Lincoln County Humane Society Board of Directors position.

We currently have Director positions open and are seeking interested candidates to serve on our Board and help the Humane Society grow and serve the needs of our community. Qualified candidates should be business-minded, with a passion for the humane treatment of all animals. We are an all-volunteer Board, with raising funds as one our of main goals.

This document is designed to provide dog owners with instructions on how to remove their dog from the three types of traps that are legal in Wisconsin-- the leg hold trap, snare, and body-gripping (Conibear type) trap.

Each year, many household pets are inadvertently trapped in these devices, which are legal (albeit controversial) in our area of Wisconsin. Please be aware that these dangers exist, and DO NOT let your dogs roam free without supervision.
