Champ has an excellent personality, however, he does not like other dogs. He loves people and has lived with older children. He should not be in a home with cats. He has a handsome brindle coat, is in great physical shape. Champ is already neutered and vaccinated, so his adoption fee is $131.88.

Daisy
Breed: Hound Mix
Age: 3 years
Sex: F (S)

Daisy is a great girl!  She is a spayed female hound mix and she is about three years old.  Daisy has been with us at the shelter since last August when she came to us lost as a stray.  Daisy is a dominant female but she adjusts to other dogs as long as they know she is the boss!  Daisy is good with cats and kids, although she does have a lot of energy so a family with older kids may be a better home for her.  Daisy loves to exercise so an active family would be ideal for her.  Daisy does have some problems with being separated from her family, so it is vital that her adoptive family provide her with a large, comfortable kennel to hang out in while they are away from home.  Because Daisy is already fixed and up to date on shots, her adoption fee will be $131.88.

Miller
Breed: Labrador Retriever

Miller is a very sweet guy; he is a truly lovable dog.  Miller is a not-yet-neutered male yellow lab. He is good with kids, although he is a little bouncy so he might be better in a family with older children so he won't knock anyone down!  Miller does ok with other dogs, but he has not been introduced to any cats yet.  Miller came to the Lincoln County Humane Society with the sheriff's as a stray. He needs a new family with an active lifestyle that can keep him in shape and burn up some of his energy.  Miller loves toys, affection, and "giving kisses" to everyone he meets!  Because Miller is up to date on his shots but not yet fixed, his adoption fee will be $52.75.

Missy
Breed: Walker Hound
Age: 1 Year
Sex: Female

Missy is a female Walker Hound around a year old, she is a wonderful girl.  She loves playing with other dogs and chasing a tennis ball.  She enjoys kids but we don’t know how she does with cats.  Missy is up to date on most shots but she is not spayed so her adoption fee would be $52.75 with a pre-paid spay procedure.  Missy is very dainty and it’s so much fun to watch her play with toys and have a good time!  She would be great in any home as long as there is enough love to go around!

Rascal
Breed: Black Labrador/Shepherd
Age: 18 Months
Sex: M

 Rascal's story is all too familiar.  He is a young guy, around 18 months old, but his family wasn't prepared for a dog that would have so much energy so they surrendered him to the humane society.  Rascal is a very good boy and he is incredibly smart.  He is even able to climb fences and open cage doors if they aren't latched!  Rascal needs someone that can work with him to burn up some of his energy and be smart enough to keep him stimulated.  Rascal survived a disease that left him partially blind in one eye, he is not yet neutered, but he is up to date on his shots so his adoption fee would be $27.00 with a pre-pay for his neuter procedure.  If you have the energy and the ability to give Rascal a good home, please stop by the Lincoln County Humane Society to meet your new family member!

Ruger
Breed: Chocolate Labrador Retriever
Age: 1 Year

Ruger is a very good boy.  He is a Chocolate Labrador Retriever, that just turned one!  Ruger is good with other dogs but he needs to learn that he can't play so rough.  Ruger has lived outside for his entire life, eventually coming to the shelter because his family could no longer care for him, but he is very smart and would easily adjust to a new indoor life as long as his new family is patient and encouraging of him.  Ruger is up to date on shots but he is not neutered yet so his adoption fee will be $52.75.  Ruger will make a great addition to any family, he is outgoing and friendly, and extremely playful! 

Smoke
Breed: Shepherd/Husky Mix
Age: 2 Years
Sex: Female (S)

Smoke is a very nice girl that came to us from the Langlade County Humane Society.  Smoke is a two year old, spayed female Shepherd/Husky mix with the most beautiful sky-blue eyes you’ll ever see.  Smoke enjoys people, likes other dogs and doesn’t mind cats.  She may be best in a home with older children because she can have shy moments and small kids might scare her.  Because Smoke is fixed and up to date on all her shots, her adoption fee will be $131.88.  Smoke has great potential to be an excellent member of your family; she just needs someone willing to work with her to show the world how wonderful she can be!

Sniffer
Breed: Beagle
Age: 7 Years
Sex: M(N)

Sniffer is a seven year old neutered male Beagle.  Sniffer spent his entire life chained to his doghouse until he was surrendered to us because his owners could no longer care for him.  Sniffer is a very sweet guy, he just needs a family that is patient enough to coax him out of his shell.  Sniffer is a hesitant with men so it is important that his new family understand that he is going through a rough time but he is completely worth the effort it will take to help him adjust!  Sniffer is good with other dogs but he is not friendly with cats.  Sniffer is good with kids, as long as they are calm and mellow with him.  Sniffer's adoption fee will be $131.88 because he is up to date on shots and already neutered. 

Trooper
Breed: Bluetick Coondhound mix

Trooper is very friendly, although he is pushy with other dogs. Older children would be preferred, and no cats. He is a great dog, and would make a wonderful companion. Because Trooper is already neutered and vaccinated, his adoption fee is $131.88.

Whiskey
Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier Mix
Age: 4 Years
Sex: Male (N)

Whiskey is a four year old neutered male American Staffordshire Terrier mix.  Whiskey is a big boy, but don’t let his size deter you, he is as mellow as can be.  Whiskey was originally adopted from the humane society but his family was moving to an area where Whiskey’s breed isn’t allowed, so he returned to us at the Lincoln County Humane Society.  Whiskey is a terrific guy; because he is already fixed his adoption fee will be $131.88.  Whiskey doesn’t mind other dogs and he adores kids of all ages and sizes.  Whiskey will be a large, happy addition to any family – come meet him and let him prove it!
